You have not been listening to me or cant
comphrend my posts or have some other deficiency
I wont mention. I have already publically
stated more than once that I would not "not" buy a
Pentax digital slr ONLY because it did not fully support K/M lenses.
My posts on that topic were always about how stupid
it is that they dont for such a tiny cost savings
realized and how I dont like to buy any product
that pisses me off for skimping on a feature
that I really want or need with nearly no
cost savings compared to the price of the product.
Even so, its not the only reason for not buying
one (yet).

Secondly, the enire point of all these HDTV posts
is that I made all these statements based on
the tremendous usage the ***average person*** gets
out of any TV is what makes them a steal and the
fact that you cannot get the same peformance out
of any older analog TV. I can and do get HIGHER imaging
peformance out of my old MF and LF cameras than
even the best Pentax (APS) DSLR available. So the main
reason I have not bought one, is there isnt
much reason to for better image quality for me like there is
main reason to upgrade to HD from analog TV. This
is consistant position on both HD and Camera matters, i.e.
I have the better picture quality format(s)on both.

Secondly, I dont see how anybody can be affording
new DSLR bodies and lenses ( I can too, but havent bought
one, but I dont say I cant afford one because I know
I can like some of these HD doubters are saying ) and then
say that HD is just too expensive for them.

I guess what I am saying is the things you spend the
most time doing in your short life are the most
important things to do with maximum enjoyment.
I dont know anyone, including myself, who spends
more time using a camera or a DSLR than watching
TV/Home video/Home theater. ( excepting maybe
full time pro photographers). I put my money where it
does the most benefit. You can't just look at price
tags. To determine the value of any product, you have to look
at total usage & benefits gained too. I would gain very
little buy buying a DSLR compared to what I already have, a gained a
whole lot buy
buying a HDTV instead of my old analog tvs.

Why would you insist on not having a digital SLR camera body if it's
missing
an aperture simulator and why would you stick with lenses w/o an
A-setting
and that don't have full functionality on newer Pentax bodies when the
new
lenses are designed to function with the new bodies? Plenty of other
people
have accepted the change and made the switch...
