Well now we have a lovely topic Cast iron for moi, or stainless steel for sauce pans. Glass for microwave zapping.
Teflon has been removed from my kitchen except for one frying pan - apparently the gas affecting birds mainly when the teflon is fairly new... if you get a pot or pan second hand that has been used a lot it is ok... I'd sure like to know though, if that is true. I learned of this from a friend who has a parrot. My gourmet secret for delicious soft scrambled eggs includes using grapeseed oil in the pan. In fact, I use grapeseed oil instead of oilve oil because it has a higher burning point and imparts no flavor to what ever you are cooking... I was particularly well fed chez Stenquist and Robb in 2005... so listen to them on matters culinary :) ann William Robb wrote: >----- Original Message ----- >From: "Paul Stenquist"Subject: Re: Please everyone set up an email filter > > > > >>Cast iron is good for a lot of things, but you can still get hard >>anodized aluminum as well.
