The higher the energy density has risen the faster the self discharge has become. My latest Sanyo 2500mAh actually charge to about 2900mAh now (they are at their peak) however they self discharge about three to four times faster than my old Sanyo 2100mAh batteries from the same product line. The new Sanyo Eneloop batteries offer a lower capacity but are optimized for very slow self discharge. Once charged they should retain 90% of charge for a year if left off load. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
