Yes. It only works with "A" series lenses, same as was the case with
the MZ-S. The MZ-S owner's manual included such info under the term,
"snap focus" I believe.
Must have the "A's" capability to communicate the necessary settings to
the body.
As you may know, the AF mode selector must be on the "S" setting.
