No need to apologise either.

I appreciate how the holiday's can bum you out. Our family is very
subdued this Christmas, my Grandmother's dementia got bad enough that
she had to be put into care. There's a lot of guilt & sadness at the
moment, and not enough little kids running around to combat it.

Enough of that, your photo...

I like it, but I'd prefer a touch more contrast (but I like contrasty B&W)
