Walt,

The programs start Friday evening with presentations in the auditorium
and go until noon or so on Sunday morning with presentations of the
best shots of the weekend.
In daylight, there are picture opportunities followed by presentations
in the evenings. There also might be a beer or two consumed at PDML
Central (picnic/camping area) with some friends and fellow Pentax
users.

There are plenty of opportunities for great scenic shots just a few
steps from your car, on the drive up the mountain, at the top, and
midway at the animal habitats (think zoo) and
auditorium/cafeteria/shop. ...Plenty of turn-outs on the way with
scenic overlooks. There is a great 'mile high' swing bridge, see...

I met our own Mark Roberts coming off of it, but it was too windy for
me. (You could hear the wind whistling thru the wires.)

My wife has made the drive with me from Chicago for the past 3 years.
She's let me take most of the photos over the years, but I enrolled
her in the program anyway for a seat to the presentations. She has
enjoyed the photographs and the speakers, plus enjoyed meeting the
pdml group. They are really very cordial.

Regards, Bob S.
