Sigma is simply the worst when it comes to quality. And they have a huge marketing budget. Buy Pentax lenses. They're better performers, 99.9% of the time anyway. The Pentax FA24-90/3.5-4.5 AL would be an excellent choice for a lens in this focal length range.
