Hi all I've been at best a part-time list member and long-time digest reader. In the past my work email was overwhelmed by the volume of mail on the list and I had to cancel subscription. Now with a new GMail account, I have plenty of storage in the inbox and can subscribe again. And after a hitch with rich text format destroying my attempts at posting a thread (sorted with the help of Doug), I can finally launch my own threads.
This list has provided me with a wealth of information over the years - there's so much collective knowledge and great photogs too. My gear. I have had a bunch of pentax bodies over the years staring with a ME Super, Program A and Super A, MZ5N, *istD, and since last month a K10D. Primes include K24/3.5, M35/3.5, M50/1.4, A50/1.7, FA100/2.8, A*200/2.8, Sigma APO 300/4, zooms 18-35FAJ, FA24-90/4, FA28-70/4, F70-210. Several teleconverters, AF280T, AF140c, AF360FGZ. Mostly I take nature photographs for work - see http://soilbugs.massey.ac.nz for examples of this stuff (macro shots of New Zealand soil invertebrates that my wife put together - I take the photos). Thought I would start with a PESO - http://www.pbase.com/kiwibiologist/image/72906411 and a bit of mystery one - you suggest a caption or explanation and we will see whether any knows what's going on in this shot. Just a snap really, but I liked the perverse scene. Alastair Robertson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
