<Rant>
I'm finding the Internet and it's search engines increasingly
frustrating. The local Staples has the discontinued Sandisk "Yellow"
gamers 1GB SD cards in stock at a very reasonable price. I've spent
several hours trying to find a comparison test, or even just a
read/write specification, to see if these cards are really any different
from the standard 1GB Sandisk cards, (except for the color of the case
that is). Yes I know, as I said, the price is very attractive but I
have plenty of SD storage at this time. So even if they're cheap I'm
not interested unless they're a little better than bottom of the
barrel. But all I can find is retailers with the usual puff
descriptions, no hard information.
The Internet used to be good for independent pages with information,
sometimes good sometimes bad posted by everyone and his brother about
any subject, and the search engines, especially Google would find them
and make them available. Now all you get is page after page of huxters,
some with multiple entries all pointing to the same _damned_ useless
pages, (as opposed to just useless pages).
Sheeish, I must be getting old.

If anyone actually read this far, I'd appreciate a pointer if there is
such a site, (except Galbbraith of course, I've already got him
bookmarked, and didn't look at these cards, probably because "they're
for gamers").
