Hello, all-

In the recent discussions concerning the value of the AA Battery Pack FG for
ZX/MZ series cameras - the use of which, by the way, I recommend highly on
the basis of greatly improved handling in what I consider to be under-sized
and under-weighted cameras incapable of otherwise balancing even medium
telephotos of large aperture - I noticed no reference to the issue of flash
cycle times, which seems to me an important functional consideration, and
which I recall was a selling point of lithium battery technology. Does
anyone have any detailed information comparing flash performance amongst
various battery technologies, such as alkaline, lithium, and perhaps
nickel-cadmium or nickel-metal hydride batteries in terms not of total
lifespan, but only of recycle times? Secondly, was either of those a run-on
sentence?

Rob
