Macro/copy stand, particularly with lighting setup is expensive.
I used a cheapest brand name enlarger stand with coarse/fine head height
adjustment (now forgot the name as I no longer have it).  It was much
cheaper than a dedicated copy stand.  I bought a set of tungsten lamp
lighting stand which fit the stand but eliminated it as I used it with a
diffuser dome so you can use just about any light source.  Ideal for small
objects like stamps.
I am sorry I do not have any more meaningful info, but I remember it worked
superbly.
