With the rebate program going on, I became very interested in the 43mm since the price would be in a reasonable range for a Limited. In the end, I opted for the FA28/2.8 AL instead ... 40-43mm is just a little too long for a normal, and a little too short for a portrait tele. The 28mm fit my eye and desires better; I already have the 35/2 and 50/1.4, wanted something just a hair wider.
If I had a 35mm film SLR, the 43 Limited would be the first lens I bought.
