Scott, I am surprised you are not getting more comments on its optical quality.
Firstly, I don't have it. By reputation, it is weak wide open, but lovely stopped down. People who have it started writing about the three-dimensional effect it gives images. This started the whole discussion about three-dimensionality in the FA limiteds. I don't have it mainly because I use primes in low light and need them to be good wide open.
