Difference in startup time for this set is small compared to the  
Window People set (www.gdgphoto.com's webserver host is supplied by  
godaddy.com). Overall, I prefer the presentation dynamics of the  
smaller images even on the 23" screen, although the larger images in  
your first set do look great on the larger screen. On the laptop, it  
is far nicer to my eye.

I tend to like plenty of empty space around the display of photos to  
allow the eye sufficient rest from distraction. The larger size you  
presented, on the laptop screen, seems tightly confined there with  
little chance for the eye to rest.

Certainly a matter of preference in aesthetics... :-)
