Photoshop CS2 can batch convert hundreds if not thousands of
exposures at a time, depending upon available memory and disk space.
You use it with its workflow and file browsing companion application,
Bridge, and the Camera Raw plug-in. You use Bridge to do the browsing
and file selection, set all the RAW parameters as desired in Camera
Raw, then tell Camera Raw where to output them and in what format.
Click a button and it's done in however long your computer takes to
grind through the processing.

You need to get a copy of "Real World Camera Raw with Photoshop CS2"
and do a little reading, Jens.

I regularly process several hundred RAW files in a single action with
Photoshop CS2.
