Thanks Doug. Good info. I've never tried printing from another machine. My work
laptop is locked, and I can't install drivers on it. But my prints from the
R2400 were perfect for the first month I had it. It started printing badly from
one print to the next last Saturday. Between prints I may have logged off and
logged back on. I might also have opened the "Print with Preview" window. In
general, the computer was acting a bit flakey, probably due to not enough space
on the startup drive. I've since cleaned that up, and the computer is working
well, but the problem persists.
