This is a typical Nikon/Pentax finding. All my Nikons have always metered about 1/2 stop under all my modern Pentaxes (older Pentaxes - pre multi-pattern - seem to be closer to Nikons). The Nikons expose slide films much more accurately, while the Pentaxes expose negative films a little denser, giving better results there.
