John, The sunset and 'twin' BMW's are my favorites, although the gingerbread house and San Jose City Hall are not to shabby either!
Both galleries work fine with IE7, but I much prefer the white border. I did the white first and it was slow to load, first posting the corners of the pictures in the gallery, then the frames, and then filling with the pictures. Of course, it was much faster with the 2nd version as I already had the pictures loaded. The home page is simple and a good visual reference to the underlying photos. Professional looking overall! I think this is a great idea. It is cold and dark here in Chicago and I need some extra incentive to get out and shoot. Work burns most of the daylight, so a weekly photo gallery would be a great project, and I rather like your layout. Regards, Bob S.
