FF would make much more sense to me, the sensor could
be more than doubled in size for very little
overall increase in body and lens size as it
could/will use same lensmount and K mount lenses. 645 would require
a much bigger, bulky, body and non k mount lenses.

I expect any larger than APS-C sensor cameras from Pentax will have a
645 
mount.
