The grip is great; it's better, in my opinion, than the D-BG1, and  
I've had no problems with both batteries; in fact, since I got the  
grip before the camera, I had a charge battery in the grip powering  
the whole camera without a problem.  You can program the K10D to use  
both batteries for power, or one battery at a time.
