Dear List As I have a birthday coming up, it is sometimes possible to persuade the financial controller of the importance of a special purchase.
I have located the Pentax 1000mm mirror lens at a fairish price. Has anyone here experience of it? I have a 500mm Tamron mirror lens which is OK but a bit poor on contrast. On a very sunny day by UK standards, you can even use it with the 1.7 af converter. For the money I could buy a K10D, but the birthday is a chance to buy something more unusual.
