Winter's finally here, (it was more than cold enough for winter before, but finally ice and snow). I decided to make a short pilgrimage to the Essex Steam RR to get a few more shots of the disabled locomotive, (and stop at a couple of other more or less photogenic locations as well. The result is this:
http://www.mindspring.com/~morephotos/PESO_--_disabled2.html Technical Data: Pentax *ist-Ds ISO 200 @ 1/20 sec smc Pentax FA 20-35 f4.0 AL @ f5.6 & 20mm Notes: I wanted an old time feeling for this so I did a bit of manipulation. First the base image was converted to B&W using Fotomatic's B&W+ with a green filter applied. I then added a grain layer, an imitation corner vignette, (the 20-35 is just to good to do that for me), added my homemade 35mm sprocket frame, then an imitation Platinum Tone. As usual comments are welcome but may be totally ignored. -- The more I know of men, the more I like my dog. -- Anne Louise Germaine de Stael -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
