I've admired the clarity and ambience of your night shots for quite a while.
The subject matter is not my cup of tea and I haven't commented. I do
like harbors, docks, quays, maritime.
So... great job, nice composition! I can smell the saltwater and tar on the
pilings.

Been playing around some more with DRI and things begin to look
encouraging:

This is one from our last trip to Boulogne/Dunkirk over Xmas. Things
were a bit difficult with thick fog most of the time and a most annoying
tendency to heavy condensation on the front lens. Couldn't wipe as fast
as it reappeared.
