By the looks of this flash it does have an Auto sensor and corresponding 
non-dedicated modes.  You *may* be able to remove (or mask) the dedicated 
contacts, leaving only the centre, and use the flash in its A modes with 
appropriate F stop manually selected.

I would not put it on the camera as is; it certainly won't work right, and 
it could even cause damage.
