BTW- it is dedicated for Nikon. How do the Pentax cameras respond to simple flash- IE only the two traditional contacts- the bracket and the center contact? (It says "Auto Thyristor" on the front. So I'm assuming it only puts a small control voltage through the camera, instead of the full flash tube charge, like the really primitive flashes.) I'm thinking about getting the flash, opening the shoe, and clipping the wires to the 3 extra "dedicated" contacts. Hopefully, the flash will work with its internal sensor.
