Hello Rob,

When I had only one *istD originally, I was going on my merry way with
no issues, then got the second one and encountered the problem you are
facing.  Since my numbers were reasonably far apart, I was ok,
until...they start to overlap.  What you are suggesting is just
postponing the problem - not fixing it.  What I finally concluded was
that I needed to rename the files upon download rather than rely on
the camera bodies to do it.  So I set them to reset the counter each
time a blank card was placed in it and started naming the files on
download according to either a job # or a running # for personal
stuff.  This has worked out much better.

There are even some tools out there to rename during the downlaod -
they can do it based on exif data (timestamp or something) or a name
that you supply.
