Looks interesting. I am sure if I were shooting a lot more it would be worthwhile, but it is a little overkill for my current needs. I am sure that by splitting the range I have I can last at possibly as long as a couple of years before overlap occurs. I can then do a simple rename changing the prefix on the existing images (I can write a util to do this in 5 mins if I don't already have something) and off I go again.
Will take a look and think about whether something more useful would be worthwhile though... Cheers to all who responded.
