It's funny: I've heard that exact comment a bazillion times since I bought the P2000.
What's funnier is that that is almost precisely what I do 99% of the time ... I just dump the files in and forget it. However, that 1% of the time when I pull the bugger out of my bag and show another photographer who said that what I was doing in the field two days ago because I happen to still have the files in the tank, I find they run to the store and buy an Epson Px000 a day later. This has happened more than a couple of times... Whatever. I was just pointing out that SDHC compatibility was available with these devices, which fall under the same category of "standalone storage unit". The fact that they also do more than just that is irrelevant.
