NOPE- 36MP would not be "way too much" for excellent (but not even the very best) FF 35mm lenses. I estimate that 24 mp would still be useful for APS and 50Mp for FF. these are the kinds of numbers needed ( maybe more )to show the full details in the image with no visible digitizing artifacts (primarily jaggies on slight diagonals) jco
