No, I don't think the demand is not there, I think the technology isn't., and for the discriminating, may never be there. That doesn't mean that such a camera won't be introduced, or won't entirely displace reflex mirror/pentaprism designs, after all electric control systems are displacing hydraulics in lots of places because they are easier to engineer, not necessarily because they are better for the user.
