I had the astronomy picture of the day as my home page for a long time, but I started to get bored with it. Then I changed to the Magnum photo essay of the day on Slate. But they seem to be putting more and more annoying crap, popups and animations on the site. So I want a new home page. Even Magnum have changed their home page so that it's full of animation, even when the essays are really good.
