Hum...? You are right it did not change it. However, manually changing it resulted in a smaller, but otherwise deteriorated jpeg. At the moment it seems the problem has to do with the files being 16bit, although it had not seemed to matter in the past. I have been thinking that I ought to work up a script to automatically convert open photos from my normal mode to reduced web photos. I guess this is a good time to look into that.
