Thanks, Bill and Boris.  You may very well be correct.  This was shot
with the 18-55 kit lens at 45.  35mm may indeed be too short.  I do
have a couple 50mm lenses, an 80-200 zoom lens and a some close up
lenses that screw on the front.  When I get around to working on
another of these I'll take several shots at 35, 50, 100mm.  This
should give me a pretty good idea of where I'm most comfortable before
I purchase a macro lens.
