I have decided to start doing PAWs. Not to inflict a lot of so-so pictures on you all, which will happen, but to sort of "force" myself or encourage myself to get out and shoot at least once a week. Hopefully more. I think I could get better with more consistent practice, or more consistently good with practice. Or something.
So this is a self-discipline type of thing, especially since I have a little more time to do photography now. I started PAWs once before and then was interrupted. So starting again. And showing them here is part of the self-discipline, as in proof (to myself as much as anything) that I am actually doing it. So bear with, please, they are bound to get better. :-) I am still too unfamiliar with the DS. This did not come out nearly as well as I would have liked. I shot with the DS yesterday and discovered I really need a manual, as I couldn't reset the aperture. Manual ordered. In a strange sort of way I feel like I am starting all over again, with a new-to-me camera -- all flumbly and unsure and everything. I don't think this has enough DOF, but this is my PAW for this past week, called, "Camouflage." http://members.aol.com/eactivist/PAWS/pages/pawFeb26.htm Comments welcome, naturally, although I don't think it merits many. *** DS, A 35-105, f/8, and other technical stuff. LOL, Marnie aka Doe :-)

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone.
