Well if you dont "connect up" how can you expect to use it? Its not like this information is needed for no reason. I have had/used paypal for about 5 years and I absolutely love it, I couldnt imagine what it would be like to not have it. The buyer protection it gives you when buying on ebay alone is worth the price of admission IMHO.
