Hi, Dario. I received mine three weeks ago and experienced that same hood problem. But after it is well placed in position there is no problem. It is a terrific lens and you can feel the cold of the metal. Very well made, indeed.

It performs very well on all respects, except for a rather evident CA, badly needing correction in case of large format prints. All considered, it tastes a lot like the DA 16-45mm, which I love so much. Warning: when using it, be careful to let the hood "click" well into its lock position, otherwise you think its OK while it's not (and the shade will be visible in all pictures taken at 12mm). It happened to me.
