That's interesting to me because in some ways Singapore airport (Changi) is where my life begins.
We were posted to Singapore from the UK in the early 60s, before I had started school. I have few memories from before Singapore, and they are rather fragmentary. But I remember the aeroplane door opening, and being dazzled by a burst of sunlight, colour, heat and the smell of the tropics, and from then on my memories are more like a continuous moving picture than a random set of snaps. -- Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Walter Hamler > Sent: 06 March 2007 18:37 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Old Photo > > I was cleaning out some stuff in my studio this morning and > ran across an > ild print from the 60's.
