Don't know what you're doing that the SD gods have decided to vent their wrath upon you. Provoking them is likely counter-productive. As to the card, call Sandisk and have it replaced. It should be under warranty. I have both card formats, never had any trouble with any of them. I prefer the SD cards, they're easier to handle.
BTW, current price on 2G Sandisk Extreme III cards is about [EMAIL PROTECTED] Not really expensive in the greater scheme of things.
