It's pretty simple. The 4/3rds cameras are noisy at moderate ISO's. 400 
on a 4/3rds body is as noisy as 800-1600 on a larger sensor. So you need 
faster lenses to be able to shoot in the same light with similar amounts 
of noise. Thus the f2 zooms get you no real boost in speed, since they 
only make up for the lower ISO necessary due to the noisy sensor.
