Hi David what looked like blanks on the LCD shows as heavy underexposed shots on the computer. Maybe the sensor of the AF280T flash did not see the subject because of the close distance, that would explain it well for me. The more I test my lens collection the more I prefer the original Pentax lenses so far. The background rendering of the Pentax A macro 50mm 2.8 is simply beautiful.
