Jack, if you don't have an .exe file as a  download you downloaded the wrong 
thing. 

Sometimes, if done wrong, web  pages just download another web page. The web 
page the downloadable was on. What  you want to do is *right* click on what 
they say to download and "Save Target  As" and save it, for convenience sake in 
your documents folder. I don't know  Vista, but it can't be that different. 
Right click will still bring up a menu,  and you probably still have a My 
Documents folder. Or save it where you want.  But what you want is definitely 
an 
.exe file. If you haven't got the .exe file  that others have told you about, 
get 
it.
