We are at 50.26N. June 21st, our sunrise will be 4:47 AM, sunset will be 
9:14 PM.
The force behind DST here is that by the end of August, when the kids are 
finishing up their summer vacation, the sun is setting before 8:00 in the 
evening.
I had sympathy for them before I became self employed and started getting up 
early.
