I'm back on this list for awhile guys. As for the screen for the -m on a -5n or -3 you need to remember that one of the reasons an AF viewfinder is dimmer than a manual one has to do with the light being picked off for the AF sensors. As a result less light actually is sent to your eye. So other than screen material composition you may not notice any improvement in brightness when the screen in question is used on an AF body. However since the manual focus screen has slightly different optical qualities to aid in focusing it well probably help you compose things when using a manual lens or an AF lens in manual mode. Actually axe the mz-30, move the mz-7 into it's spot, then move the mz-5n down to where the mz-7 was, put the mz-3 in the 5n's place and then add a mz-1 ( mz-s in cheaper plastic body maybe ) between it and the mz-s all nice and very competitive then. Also you can put the MZ-M screen in the MZ-5n , I just ordered one for my mz-3 and a different screen for my PZ-20. --- Paul Jones <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > The MZ5n should be discontinued and the MZ3 should > take its place. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ed Dombek" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Pentax-Discuss Mail List" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2001 3:57 PM > Subject: Re: The 5n could be the best if ... > > > > ... it also had: > > > > 1.
