I happen to like the canvas. It has enough heft to provide a bit of protection, but is not bulky like padded cases. Too bad I can not afford one.
A point for those who do not know, Domke bags are intended as working bags, not storage bags. What is the difference? A storage bag is designed to hold and protect your whole kit. A working bag is intended to hold just what you are using on this assignment with easy access to everything.
