Well she was learning from the pro in the gallery. I think she got some extra consideration in the early goings. As they were building up the Premier Collection, the earlier you got on board, the better your chances. I think they are going to have an issue down the road, because if that gallery gets too big, people won't want to browse it. It will be interesting to see if they bump some photos at some point.
The real thing to remember is this is a show off gallery for Pentax equipment. Much more than it is a show off gallery for the photographer. So they are looking for some cliched images - many of which she has produced. They want some really punchy colors and classic locations so that the Canon-Nikon crowd can see that you can take a good picture with Pentax. I think that really subtle images are not going to be very well accepted. They need to be very strong and almost jump out at you. I also think that they compare you to yourself to some degree. So someone really good might have some of theirs rejected even though they could be better than the best of another individual. But that is to be expected. If they didn't do that, then some people may not get any in their gallery at all.
