My Epson 4800 suddenly started doing the screaming magentas a couple of days 
ago. A power cleaning fixed it up.
Make sure you have everthing set up right, from the colourspace in the file 
to the paper in use, turn colour management off in the printer and tell 
Photoshop to deal with the colours, and then do another test. If it's still 
wonky, then do a power clean.
