*shrug* I haven't had any problems with dust with my K10D in the few months I've owned it. I use the dust removal feature from time to time, usually when I've been changing the lenses a few times during an outing. My hypothesis is that the dust removal works better if the camera is on a solid surface instead of in your hands. One's hands would absorb some of the motion and impact of the sensor as it moves, while a solid surface (such as a desk) would absorb very little of that energy. I know there are physics terms that would be more appropriate here, but it's been ten years (!) since my last physics class, during my senior year of high school. Vocabulary aside, I'd like to see my hypothesis tested, just to see if it actually makes a difference.
