The lack of grain inherent in digital makes my K10 images look very similar to those from my 6x7, but close inspection reveals that the 6x7 images hold more detail than those from the K10. I would anticipate that the 645 digital will probably look remarkably like images from 645 or 6x7 film. Once you get to medium format, grain isn't much of an issue, unless you are making very large prints.
