it should be interesting to see the stuff about Daguerrotypes, especially the hands-on workshop, and the talk by Terry King. I have a daguerrotype which I picked up in a junk shop years ago for a few pence - they're almost magical objects.
Today I went to the V&A to look at some photogravures by P H Emerson and by Alvin Langdon Coburn. I also saw some wet-plate collodion prints and other stuff. It's facinating to look at - some of the photos are really spectacular, and Coburn's photos are superb. Here are some snaps I took: http://www.web-options.com/VAM/ The first one reminds me of some of my ex-girlfriends. -- Bob > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Mark Roberts > Sent: 24 March 2007 22:47 > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: Pinhole photography conference (was: Zero Image) > > http://www.f295.org/wordpress/ > > I've signed up for it even though I don't (yet) do pinhole > photography > because it sounds interesting and it's at CMU, within walking > distance > of home :) -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
