With the K10D, I use RAW/DNG and RAW/PEF interchangeably and process with Lightroom. Zero difference in rendering qualities, noise, etc. It's the same data. I usually use PEF now since it nets me more exposures per G of card storage, and convert to DNG when I import to Lightroom. This has the advantage of Lightroom generating compressed DNGs where if I hand it DNGs out of the camera they remain uncompressed unless I export them.
